This three-day online training programme explored the principles of ethical leadership and their importance in parliamentary management, where public trust, transparency and accountability are central. Participants examined what it means to lead with integrity, including making fair decisions, acting in the public interest and setting a standard of conduct that strengthens the credibility of democratic institutions.
Delivered online in association with the Parliament Support Project of UNDP Nepal, the programme used interactive discussions and practical examples to connect ethical principles with the everyday realities of managing parliamentary work. Over the three days, participants considered how ethical leadership can strengthen institutional culture and public confidence. They left with a clearer understanding of the responsibilities of leadership in parliamentary settings and practical ideas for upholding integrity in their roles.
