This programme focused on the role of ethics and integrity in leading people within a guest-service environment, where trust is the foundation of every relationship, with guests and with colleagues alike. Participants explored what ethical leadership means in practice, considering honesty, fairness, respect and accountability, and how a leader’s daily choices set the tone for the entire team’s behaviour and reputation.
Through case discussions and thoughtful dialogue, participants worked through realistic dilemmas that arise in hospitality, such as balancing guest demands with team wellbeing and handling mistakes with transparency. They learned frameworks for making sound decisions when the right path is not obvious. The programme left participants with a clearer ethical compass, greater confidence in speaking up and leading by example, and a deeper commitment to building a workplace culture rooted in integrity.
